We offer more than "just a dog walk" by offering walks which are both physical excersize but also mentally enriching for your pup so they get the most out of there time. We cater our walks to your dogs needs, whether they are on a group walk or private we always ensure your pup gets lots of attention and have a fantastic time. When you're dog is a part of our pack, they are apart of our family!
Are you insured?
Absolutely! We take safety seriously and we are insured, licensed, experienced and first aid certified so you can rest assured your pup will be in good hands.
Where do you walk the dogs?
Our private walks and group walks take place in parks and trails around your neighbourhood, so your pup gets maximum walking time and less travel time
Our K9 Adventurers visit a variety of trails and parks, so there time out may vary each trip, but will take place in allowed offleash trails, beaches and/or parks
Do I need to be home for pickup/drop off
No! During our initial meet & greet we will go over your specific pickup/drop off instructions. Clients keys are labelled with dogs name and safety stored when not in use. Lock codes can be noted on your pets confidential file. You will recieve a text update of your pets walk/visit.
Do you accept intact dogs?
Intact dogs are typically best suited to private walks, with the exception of puppies. We handle all intact dog inquiries on a case by case basis.
How does invoicing work?
For our regualar clients we send out a weekly invoice at the end of the week and payment is due upon receipt. Prepayment for walks is also accepted for regualar clients. For occasional/one off services prepayment is mandatory
What is your booking/cancellation policy?
We try to be as flexible as possible for our bookings and just ask that you let us know 1 week in advance, if possible so we can plan our week accordingly.
Cancellations can be made up to 1 day in advance for no charge, Last minute cancellations will be subject to a $15 inconvenience fee.
What is your vaccination policy?
All dogs using our services should be up to date on their vaccinations. We also strongly recommend your dog is on a flea and tick preventative - especially during the summer months.
Dogs must also be free from parasites and infectious illnesses(such as kennel cough). If your dog is unwell, there may be an opportunity for a private walk or bathroom relief but we will not be able to accept them on a group walk until fully recovered for the safety of all our clients.
Will my dog be off-leash?
With your consent, we will allow your dog time to play offleash in designated off leash areas and parks. To ensure safety, all new dogs go through a few steps first before they begin there first true off leash adventure. We always walk your dog on leash initially on the trails and use a long line to test out your pups recall and responses and also begin to build that connection and relationship with your dog. When we feel assured your dog is responding well and interacting confidently with the group, and has a reliable recall we will allow them some time to roam off leash.
What days are available?
We typically follow the standard work week, Monday through Friday and work with you for your preferred time of day. We do not offer walks after 5.30pm.
What about bad weather?
Our walks happen whether it is sunny, rainy or even snow! We consistently monitor your pups comfort levels throughout their walk and take steps to ensure their enjoyment. We always provide your pup with plenty of water to drink and you can provide them with extra layers if required in the colder months
